A bold new chapter for one of Dearborn’s key commercial corridors
In 2023, the City of Dearborn was awarded a USDOT Safe Streets and Roads for All Implementation Grant to improve safety for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians along W. Warren Avenue.
What does this mean for you? This project, W. Warren Avenue Transformation, presents an opportunity to shape W. Warren into a corridor that will better serve your community!
W. Warren Avenue is a key commercial corridor that has struggled with heavy vehicular traffic and reduced foot traffic to local businesses.
This project aims to implement infrastructure improvements that will move drivers safely, while also creating a more welcoming environment for pedestrians and cyclists. Landscaping and lighting can also positively impact the corridor. This project will transform W. Warren into a safer and more vibrant corridor for everyone.
